To begin my journey to make crosswalks safer around my school I asked the crossing guards about their experiences.

Meeting with Del on Wednesday 3/27/19:

To gain further insight on my project to create a crossing guard assistant I looked to my local elementary school. During the mornings these guards generally arrive around 7:30 in the morning and leave about 8:30, they also return back to school after school ends for another 30 minutes. This means the assistant needs at minimal a 2-hour battery life.
